National Commander (General) John D. Butler
(Veneratio Quod Muneris (Honor and Service)
We are committed to Serving others by Sacrifice, Volunteer Service, Integriety, Honor and Team work
We are looking for men and women who have the heart of a servant for others.
Jesus said to go out quickly into the highways and hedges and as many as you can find compel them to come to the wedding of the Lamb. And they went out and invited everyone they could find
and they were many. Disasters, Crises, trouble, terrorism, war and rumurs of wars. Unsafe cities and even some of our own neighborhoods. Violence, anger, rage, murder and evil abounds in todays world. What can we do about it?
We can train and certify men and women in counseling, crisis response, disaster response, emergency response, critical care giving, hospice, hospitals, prisons, nursing homes and the list is endless of the places to find to minister outside the 4 walls of the church. I love church and I'm part of one and submitted to the authority of it's leadership, but the church is not the mission field.
The fields of Harvest is great , but the laborers are few. CFCC vision is to train and place men and women in position to help others in these times of trouble that have come upon this earth.
Many are called Jesus said; but so few are chosen because they want a form of salvation that just satifies them and does nothing for others. To be chosen you have to be committed to the calling of God and be tested and tried and be found faithful before him.
I've spent the past 30 years in full-time ministry and it cost everything to keep God first and others before myself daily. Are you called to be a solider of the Lord instead of yourself?
"Jesus said: If any one will loose their own life for my name's sake, the same shall save it, and if anyone seeks to save only their own life
the same shall lose it: By this shall you know that you are my disciples if you love one another."
"He that is greatest among you shall be your Servant, (Volunteer) of all." Matthew 23:13
Our motto is: "Our spirit bows to your spirit to be your servant in your time of need"
"Jesus said; No greater love has no man than to lay down his life for others!
Chaplaincy has a long history within itself and is a ever growing field of multiple ministries worldwide. History says it was started by a man named St. Martin of Tours, who is recognized as the initiator of chaplaincy. While he was still a solider, Martin came upon a beggar on a cold day. He was moved by compassion it is said and removed his heavy cloak and sliced it in half and shared it with the beggar. This began the start of his legancy as a solider of compassion, a chaplain. This picture of compassion paints for us the picture of what a wonderful ministry chaplaincy has to offer to this world.
A chaplain is called to be someone who comes along the side of someone in some form of aide or benifit to help them in their duties, difficulties and distress. It is said that Martin later dreamed that Christ was wearing the half of the cloak that he had given the beggar. The cloak became know as the "cappa" and an object of great respect. The place the "cappa" was kept was called "cappella," which comes from the french word "chappele," which became the word "chapel." The priest that was in charge of guarding the cloak was called "chappelanus," or "chappelain" in French, which we get our english word "Chaplain." "The chaplain is the keeper of the cloak or the keeper of compassion."
"Jesus ministry," He felt great pity upon the crowds that came to him, because of their many problems and many of them were great and they did not know where to go get help. They were like sheep without a sheperd. He said unto his disciples, "followers, workers," the harvest truely is great, but the workers are so few. So pray to God who is in charge of the harvest and ask him to raise up and send forth more workers into the harvest."
For the fields, avenues, opportunities and needs, of this world are great and the laborers to fill those needs are so very few. Less that 60% of people go to any church and even less than that can afford any professional care when they need someone to talk too. The calling of a chaplain is a much bigger picture in the eyes of Jesus than in the minds of mankind. Isaiah heard a voice saying "who will go for us?" he replied, here am I send me, Lord.
The need of chaplains in the worlplace of this world grows daily and we have the honor of training those who want to serve others and have compassion on others in their time of need.
Chaplaincy is also looked down upon by many traditional churches because chaplains involved in the workplace agencies, such as hospitals, airlines and first responders are required to be there on Sunday's when most traditional services are usally held. So many pastors and clergy men look down upon chaplains as not being spiritual. That is so very untrue. A chaplain has to provide spiritual care 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and is on call at any given moment a crisis or incident that requires their presence happens. Are you that person who wants to be there when someone needs you.
I've had to spend some of my Sundays at the Fire Department with the men and women instead of being in church. I love church, but I chose ministering to people over being ministered too, if I'm called to be there on Sunday or the Sabbath or which ever day I might choose to worship. Disasters and crises do not pick the days we want, they just happen and we have to respond and help the best we can as long as it takes for recovery to be established 7 days a week sometimes. Often just being their and being present to listen to people's stories of what they have been through is just as great in God's eyes as becoming famous in the worlds eyes, but never laying your life down to serve others in their time of need.
A man ask me one day, which church do you go to? I said, all of them. Which one do you belong too? Just one. Which one is that? "Jesus" Who ordained you? I said, Jesus! He got mad then and showed his real religious spirit. He said, you are not doing any good for anyone and what you are doing is not even effective. I stayed quite and ask the Lord what to say to him? "The Spirit of the Lord said, tell him it got him out of his car and got him across the highway and if it has done nothing, it sure has stirred up your religious spirit." The man shut up, turned around and walked away and I kept on trying to find someone to have compassion on and to help.
Chaplains are called upon to provide what many churches and traditionial religions cannot often offer. A presence in the market places of this world, in hospitals, nursing homes, VA centers, workplaces, fire departments and law enforcement agencies both local, state and all branches of government. Chaplains also serve in the Senate at the White House in Washington, DC, as well as in all branches of our military services.
Chaplains have been around a long time. Often looked down upon because of their none religious approach to others. They are a ministry of presence in the time of need for those around them. Not only for all faiths, but also for those who have no faith, a chaplain standing with a family through a trial can make a believer out of someone without ever saying a word.
"One man said; all I can remember is that you were there."
Being there for others and knowing God is with you to show His Love and Mercy to all in their time of need. I passed out coffee, Bibles to those who wanted one to people who had lost everything in their life in a Hurricane. Before my deployment was over with the people were bringing me meals from their homes as I sat set up in their disaster zone just to be there for them. I stayed 57 days. Do you think those people will ever forget this stranger that came to their aid intheir time of need?
The Chaplains Corp is chartered as a non-profit public charity organization called Crisis Intervention ministries/ DBA/ Chaplain Fellowship Chaplains Corps.
We have certified training for crisis, first responders, disaster relief, faith-based counseling, hospice, law enforcement, jail and prison ministry, nursing homes, hospitals, community service, corporate chaplains, veterans organizations, and even training for ordination if you wish to become a chaplain.
Now my question to you are? Do you have a servants heart? Do you have a desire to serve your community and country as a volunteer?
Have you ever felt God's call to minister or reach out to your community and country to be a volunteer or to become a Chaplain and help those around who are in need?
Are you a Veteran or a pastor or a minister or just a loving caring person and you feel the need to reach out beyond your self into a broader vision of becoming a volunteer to serve others with the love of Jesus Christ?
If so then becoming a member with the The Chaplain Fellowship Chaplain's Corps is for you.
The Chaplain Fellowship Chaplain's Corps (CFCC) is a Volunteer organization, committed to ministering God's Precense and His Love to all who will receive us. We each work in our own field of serving others as God The Holy Spirit opens doors and places for us to be a minister of His Presence.
You can make a difference in times of crisis, trouble and disasters in our nation and in your community and reach out and help to alleviate the human suffering wherever you see the opportunity to serve.
Membership into Chaplain Fellowship Chaplain's Corps (CFCC) is open to all people, pastors, ministers and both Clergy and non-clergy alike and also all first responders, as well all our military service men and women and to all our Veterans that have served our country.
Regardless if you do or do not have a ministerial background or not, if you're interested in volunteering and in helping others in their time of need, then this Chaplain's Corps has a place for you to serve.
You only need to be a born-again Christian, believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and be committed to Lord Jesus Christ and have a burning desire to serve others.
Before choosing to become a member of our chaplains world I suggest that you spend some time in prayer, because it will take commitment, intregrity, honor and volunteer service on your part to be an active member. Being accepted as a member will be based upon your background, lifestyle and training experience.
To become a member of the CFCC we ask that you make at least a $50.00 one time donation to the chaplains corps. We also ask for at least a 10.00 a minium monthly commitment from our members to stay active and help support the cost of this ministry. Some of you can make a larger monthly commitment to help this ministry that you are becoming a partner in and a part of.
When you make the decision to join and send in your application in full and your donation you will receive a plastic photo ID card, 5 CFCC patches and one certified training course absolutely free. We also have certification in several chaplain courses that you can become certified in.
You have a choice as to how you wear your uniform. If you intend on wearing your militray earned ribbions you must also send a copy of your DD-214.
We are not going to be just another internet Chaplain organization that gives you a Title and a Badge and lets you run off and claim to be a chaplain. If you want to become a member of CFCC you will be required to take training before you will be recognized as a Chaplain or you must show proof through your education and minister license and ordination or prior training to be eligible to be classified as a chaplain.
What we now are asking you is, Why do you want to become a member of CFCC? What do you have to offer us? What do you intend to do if you become a member? There is a 6 month probation period for every new member that joins the CFCC so we can see and find out why you have chosen to become a member of CFCC.
We are no different in our volunteer requirements than any fire department, police department, hospital or any workplace that will take you in as a member. They all require a time period to see if you are what you say you are or are you just someone who wants a position and a title. We are looking for men and women who will serve humanity, their country, nation and communities as servants, willing and show their heart by their deeds not their mouth.
"Can The World See Jesus In You?
Now some of you that already have the proper training and years of experience, refrences, resume will be placed at whatever level your work experience merits.
While most chaplain groups just offer you just a membership and paper, we don't. What we offer is certified and recognized training, a photo ID Card, based upon completion of each level of your training. Your Level of Chaplaincy will be visible on your ID card so when authorities scan it, it will show the courses you have been trained and cerified in. Fema requires a plastic indentification card to enter a disaster area. If you intend on helping others you better get ready and prepared first.
Please do not fill out an application if you are not going to be completely honest with us on your application. There will be a criminal background check run on you and if your criminal record is current and bad enough it could stop you from being accepted as a member of CFCC.
But we are not closed minded if you have a past criminal record and have currently changed and proven yourself to be able to live a lawful life among society. We have all failed at some point in our lives and we are not here to judge you. We just ask that you be absolutely honest on your application. The board of directors will reveiew your criminal record and application if it needs to be questioned.
Please read over our ethics link and realize you are seen and read of all people, especially those that believe and that you will be ministering in your communities and country as a CFCC chaplain or a volunteer member. There is a place for everyone to serve others if you have a heart to serve others in their time of need.
We only want commited, honest and serious people seeking to join the ranks of our uniformed branch of Chaplain Fellowship Chaplains Corps.
We are formed in a military uniform fashion to honor all who have served our great country as first responders and veterans that have served in many different fields in both the military and all branches of our government. Many of us are retired or veterans of military service or first responders in many different fields where we have each served others and our country.
